A few of these are from last week, but here are the trending movie trailers.
The Green Knight:
From Director David Lowery, who I know from directing The Old Man & the Gun and A Ghost Story, comes The Green Knight.
The film stars Dev Patel, Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Barry Keoghan, Ralph Ineson, Kate Dickie and Sean Harris. The story is based on the poem of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
It is scheduled to be released on May 29, 2020, by A24.
It is set in medieval times, and I only like medieval times for the Turkey Leg. I can't handle films set in that period, but that's just me.
The French Dispatch
Wes Anderson is back again with a movie he has written, directed and produced. The ensemble cast includes Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Steve Park, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson.
That's quite the cast, and there are others who are going to make an appearance. This is Wes Anderson after all - Legend Status.
It takes place in France post WWII and is to be released on July 24, 2020.
The Hunt:
With over 13 million views, The Hunt seems to be generating a mass amount of house. To be produced by the powerhouse BLUMHOUSE, finally set to be released March 13, 2020, after a series of delays due the El Paso and Dayton Shootings, because the film is built around the 1924 story "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connel.
Co-Written by Damon Lindelof, who you know from being a co-creator of LOST, who went on to create Cowboys VS Aliens, Prometheus, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Leftovers and HBO's Watchmen. This should be a good one.
