Miley Cyrus Says It’s The End of The World and We Believe Her!

Miley Cyrus is here to glam up the apocalypse with her latest single “End of the World”, the newest drop from her upcoming pop-opera visual album Something Beautiful. And if the world really is ending, we’d like to go out just like Miley, writhing on the floor in a green sequined dress.

The sultry new music video opens with Miley swaying to the track’s moody beat before melting into the floor in pure diva fashion. “Let’s pretend it’s not the end of the world,” she croons, with a lyric sheet that name drops Paul McCartney, Malibu drives, and desperate embraces. It’s part party, part panic, and fully iconic.

The track continues the cinematic rollout for Something Beautiful, Miley’s ninth studio album and first full visual project, arriving May 30. She’s described it as her version of Pink Floyd’s The Wall, but with a better wardrobe and a lot more pop culture.
