Emilia Clarke, Sofia Vergara, Chewbacca, And All The Hottest Arrivals On The ‘Solo’ Red Carpet

Does the actor who plays Chewbacca have the choice to show up to the red carpet without the costume, or is he forced to? I would not put it passed those tycoons at Disney to force the poor lad to sit through the night in the hot fur. And I am speaking in regards to the temperature inside the costume, not its attractiveness. The furry community does not do it for me.

If I was the actor I do not know if I would be happy or pissed about wearing the costume. The negatives would obviously be that it is uncomfortable as hell, if you have an itch to scratch on your face then you are stuck with it, and you miss out on getting your face in any pictures.

The positives are that you do not have to keep a stupid smile on your face all night, you could even send another 7 foot tall person in your place and no one would know, and you do not have to talk to anyone. You could just yell at them with the Tarzan on PCP voice that Chewie has, and they will love you for it. So all in all, I’d say he is coming out on top.
