Back in May, a poster for Sin City:A Dame to Kill For was banned by the MPAA. The problem was not the fact that the star of the film, Eva Green, was holding a gun. Everybody knows guns are harmless. The problem was her boobs, and the fact that they were just way too visible for the average wholesome American moviegoer.
At the time, I was very grateful for the MPAA's intervention in this matter, because I know first hand how shapely bosoms can warp young minds. However, on Tuesday night Eva Green had a chat with Jimmy Kimmel on his little talk show, and in the course of that chat she made a pretty compelling case for the original, boobier version of the poster.
Now I must admit, I think I prefer the original version to the edited version.
But don't take my word for it. Watch the clip above, then judge the two for yourself.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, a.k.a. Sin City 2, hits theaters August 22.
